Academic Teaching

Dr. Carmi teaches comparative free speech courses in leading institutions in Israel and the United States. He teaches "Freedom of Expression – A Comparative Perspective" at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem Law School and he taught a similar course at the University of Virginia School of Law. Dr. Carni also teaches Holocaust and the Law at the Interdisciplinary Center Herzelia since 2008. He previously taught Introduction to American Law at the University of Haifa Faculty of Law and the College of Management Law School. Dr Carmi's teaching experience includes mandatory courses of 180 students and elective small scale courses, in various law school in Israel and the United States. Dr. Carmi combines practice with law teaching in leading institutions, and integrates theory into the practical applications and vice versa.
